This International Oil & Gas organisation with more than 10,000 employees operating across Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the Asia Pacific is currently seeking a Field Piping Engineer for its operation in Kazakhstan.

You will be responsible for overseeing overall piping design and also for alterations or modifications to existing facilities. You will be required to manage and utilise resources to support piping activities with well-maintained equipment and hardware for timely completion of planned and scheduled work.

As a Russian speaking Graduate Engineer (Mechanical) with minimum 10 years experience you will maintain close liaison with Clients, other engineering departments as well as with subcontractors for completion of scheduled jobs.

A breakdown of your main responsibilities include:

· Plan and supervise the piping equipment layout based on inputs received from process and project departments.
· Identify the required materials and also give requirement to vendors and do the technical bid evaluation on receiving tenders. Post evaluation of technical bids issue the purchase requisition from vendors.
· Supervise the design of the piping layouts based on P&ID (Piping and Instrument Design layout).
· Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to solicit any inputs or changes in engineering design with need to be incorporated to finalize piping design layout.
· Prepare the work plan for the piping department to draw up the quantum of work and also work out the schedule/plan for deployment of resources.
· Plan and supervise periodic site surveys for first hand data collection which is used to incorporate any changes if required in the piping layout.
· Represent piping department in the periodic Engineering Review Meetings to share the work in progress, problems/issues faced etc.
