We are currently seeking an experienced Hydroelectric Resident Engineer for a position in Central Asia. You will be responsible for leading a construction supervision team for the dam / hydroelectric works. The team will be made up from international experts and supported by local engineers.

Description

Review the method statements and site construction drawing for material preparation with respect to the Contract requirements
Supervise the dam works
Monitor the progress of the works with respect to the program, verifying the provision by the Contractor of adequate means and resources to carry out the works
Verify the activities related to the works with the requirements, the quality plan, health and safety rules and procedures
Coordinate with the Laboratory as regards testing of the material
Verify the conformity of the as-built drawings
Follow-up the evolution of the dam behaviour with respect to the Contract requirements and design calculations
Assist the Contracts Manager in subjects of Contract management (interim payments, claims, etc.)
Draft the Monthly Reports related to the works

To be successful you must have a minimum of 15 years experience in design and construction of dams and hydroelectric works. You must be degree qualified and preferably have experience in the region.
